MixRadio unveils improved recommendation engine
MixRadio at the MixRadio Connects event announced a new natively built recommendation engine for its streaming service. The engine improves personalisation by using “billions of data points from millions of consumers” to deliver a highly personalised listening experience. MixRadio claims the engine has been in development since 2010 and greatly evolves the Play Me feature.
MixRadio has been a part of Nokia until Microsoft (who took over Nokia devices) announced the decision to spin off MixRadio as a separate entity.
MixRadio is currently exclusive to Nokia Lumia and X Series (Android) with no word if it will be released on other Android or iOS devices in the near future.
