HTC Vive really is the best gadget in the world right now
You’ve probably heard this a lot over the past couple of months, but the HTC Vive has just won another major award.
The positionally-aware VR headset might already have an awards shelf that’s busier than a London commuter train, but that hasn’t stopped it picking up another two gongs at the TrustedReviews Awards.
As well as having been crowned 2016’s VR Headset of the Year, the HTC Vive took home the coveted Product of the Year title from the London-based event.
These are added to a plethora of other awards it’s picked up in recent weeks, including T3’s Gadget of the Year and a Wareable award.
Although the Vive was tonight’s big winner, it wasn’t the only top notch gadget recognised by TrustedReviews.
While the Samsung Galaxy S7 beat out the iPhone 7 Plus and OnePlus 3 to take the Phone of the Year award, Sky Q claimed the Home Entertainment Product of the Year mantle.
Wondering what happened to Apple? Well the big-A didn’t go home empty-handed. While the 9.7-inch iPad Pro was announced as the TrustedReviews 2016 Tablet of the Year, the brilliant Apple Watch Series 2 was crowned Wearable of the Year.
