Save 10% on Parallels Desktop with This Coupon Code
The Parallels Desktop software lets you run Windows, Linux, or legacy macOS releases on your Mac computer. It’s an incredible tool that doesn’t require dual-booting an OS, and notably, it’s the only good way to run Windows apps on an Apple Silicon Mac.
Note: This deal ends September 27th and only applies to a one-year subscription of Parallels Desktop.
For a limited time, you can save 10% on a year of Parallels Desktop using coupon code RMY-XND-LM1 at checkout. This lowers the base version of Parallels Desktop to just $80, while it slashes Parallels Desktop Pro Edition to $107. (You can even use this coupon code to save on the Business Edition of Parallels Desktop!)
If you buy Parallels, I strongly suggest going for the Pro option. It offers extended functionality that’s especially useful when developing apps or gaming—you get a maximum 128GB of vRAM, 32 vCPUs, access to a command line interface, and other great perks. (Though M1 Macs only get 62GB of vRAM and 18 vCPUs with the Pro Edition.)
Note that Apple Silicon systems use the ARM architecture, so they cannot run virtualized x86 software. If you want to use Windows on your M1 Mac, you’re forced to use Windows on ARM, which may have trouble running certain applications or games. (If you have specific apps or games in mind, do a Google Search to see if they work on Apple Silicon with Parallels Desktop.)
This deal ends September 27th. I suggest reading How-To Geek‘s detailed Parallels Desktop 18 review to learn more about this software.
